| The Arado Ar 234 was the worlds first operational jet powered bomber, built by the German Arado company for the Luftwaffe in the closing stages of the Second World War. The Arado Ar234 was produced in very small numbers, it was used almost entirely in the reconnaissance role, but in its few uses as a bomber it proved to be nearly impossible to intercept. In April 1945 The Arado Ar234 was the last Luftwaffe aircraft to fly over England during the war. Length: 12.64 m Wingspan: 14.41 m Height: 4.29 m Wing area: 26.4 m2 Empty weight: 5,200 kg.
